How I Work
In both individual and couples therapy, I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe to explore difficult emotions and experiences. I believe in an integrated approach to healing that involves both the mind and the body. Therapy is not just about talking through issues; it’s about feeling deeply understood, learning new tools, and developing resilience so you can live a more authentic and fulfilling life.
I offer therapy in-person in the Los Angeles area and virtually for clients in California. If you’re ready to start your therapeutic journey or have questions about how we can work together, please reach out to schedule a consultation.
Therapy Services
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, we will work together to understand the underlying causes of emotional challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship struggles. My approach is grounded in a combination of psychodynamic therapy, Gestalt mindfulness, and somatic awareness. I believe in the mind-body connection, and through this integrated approach, we will explore your thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences to help you heal and create meaningful change. I also use cognitive-behavioral techniques when appropriate to provide practical tools for navigating difficult thoughts and behaviors.
Some areas we can address in individual therapy include:
- Self-esteem and developing a healthy sense of self
- Emotional healing from ended or toxic relationships
- Recovery from narcissistic abuse and rebuilding trust in oneself
- Existential exploration, including life purpose, identity, and meaning
- Anxiety and stress
- Depression
- Trauma
- Life & Family Transitions
- Grief and loss
- Emotional regulation and resilience
- Family of Origin issues
- Relationship struggles
- Attachment trauma
- Codependence
- Spirituality
- Shame
- People pleasing and self abandonment
I also integrate mindfulness practices into therapy to help reduce stress and improve overall well-being. This can include guided meditation, breathwork, and relaxation techniques designed to bring calm and clarity to your mind and body.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is a powerful tool for improving communication, resolving conflict, and building deeper intimacy in your relationship. I work with couples to identify patterns of behavior that may be contributing to tension or disconnect and help you build healthier ways of relating. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, facing ongoing relationship difficulties, or simply seeking to strengthen your connection, I provide a collaborative, compassionate space to work through challenges.
My approach to couples therapy draws from Relational Life Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method, which focus on fostering emotional safety, communication, and intimacy. I also bring in Gestalt therapy to help couples stay present and engaged with each other in the moment.
Some common issues we may address in couples therapy include:
- Communication difficulties
- Trust and betrayal
- Conflict resolution
- Intimacy and connection
- Life transitions (parenting, career changes, etc.)
- Coping with the aftermath of infidelity
- Emotional disconnection
- Attachment trauma
- Heal past relationship hurts
- Identifying and ending dysfunctional cycles
- Relational parenting and co-parenting
- Codependence
- Increase connection and find more joy and satisfaction
- Struggles with intimacy
I aim to support couples in not only addressing immediate concerns but also in building a foundation for long-term relational health. Together, we can develop strategies that help you both navigate challenges and build a resilient, loving partnership.
